Security and sessions

Two-factor authentication, your password, the devices signed in to your account, and your activity log.

Two-factor authentication

  1. 1

    Start the setup

Open Security and, under Two-Factor Auth, start the setup.

  2. 2

    Scan the QR code

Scan it with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy…), or type the key it shows.

  3. 3

    Enter the code

Type the 6-digit code the app shows and press Verify and Enable. From then on, signing in asks for a code.

Turning two-factor authentication off asks for your password.

Your password

Change it under Security → Credentials; your current password is required. Changing it signs out all your sessions, this one included once its 15-minute access runs out, so anyone who had your old password loses access.

Sign in with Google

Works only with a Google account whose email Google has verified, and still asks for your two-factor code if you have it on.

Sessions

  • Active Sessions lists every device signed in to your Identise account, with its browser, operating system, IP address and last activity. Sign out any of them.
  • Universal Session Removal (under Security) signs you out on every device at once.
Don't recognise a session? Sign it out, then change your password and turn on two-factor authentication.

Activity log

Activity Log is your own security history: sign-ins, password and two-factor changes, and what you did in workspaces. Entries are kept for a year.
